RUBEN S AKA RADIOBOI


Ruben RadioBoi Escobar has been on Valley airwaves for over a decade and is no stranger to valley radio listeners. He has co-hosted morning shows on several different valley radio stations across the dial including 103.9 Arizona’s Party Station, Power 92.3, 104.7 Kiss FM, 101.5 Jamz, and 95.1 Latino Vibe. He’s also been heard in Tulsa, OK on 101.5 The Beat and in Tucson, AZ on Hot 98.3. He has carried many titles during his radio career including on-air mixer, station imaging director, night show host, afternoon show host and morning show co-host. He also created several dance mixshows including Afterhourz, 92 Degreez and Insomnia which aired weekend late night hours. Ruben had a very popular feature during his run as a morning show co-host called “Ruben’s Back in the Day Double Play”. His extensive knowledge in Old School music has brought him to his current radio position; afternoon drive 2p to 6p on Mega 104.3 Arizona’s Old School. If that wasn't enough you can hear Ruben playing classic hip hop from 6p to 10p on Mega’s sister station 92.7/99.3/101.1 The Beat.



?TRANSFORMERS 3" IS NOW THE TOP GROSSING MOVIE OF 2011



"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" easily held onto the #1 spot at the box office. It earned another $47 million over the weekend, bringing its total to $261 million. That makes it the top grossing film of the year. Meanwhile, "Horrible Bosses" came in 2nd with $28.1 million, and "Zookeeper" trailed in third with $21 million.  Here are this week's Top 10 movies:

 

1.)  "Transformers: Dark of the Moon", $47 million.  Up to $261 million in its 2nd week, which makes it the top grossing movie of the year so far.

 

2.)  "Horrible Bosses", $28.1 million.

 

3.)  "Zookeeper", $21 million.  

 

4.)  "Cars 2", $15.2 million.  Up to $149 million in its 3rd week.  

 

5.)  "Bad Teacher", $9 million.  Up to $78.8 million in its 3rd week.  

 

6.)  "Larry Crowne", $6.3 million.  Up to $26.5 million in its 2nd week.   

 

7.)  "Super 8", $4.8 million.  Up to $118 million in its 5th week.

 

8.)  "Monte Carlo", $3.8 million.  Up to $16.1 million in its 2nd week.   

 

9.)  "Green Lantern", $3.1 million.  Up to $110 million in its 4th week.

 

10.)  "Mr. Popper's Penguins", $2.9 million.  Up to $57.7 million in its 4th week.
