Weekdays 10:00am-2:00pm Hello family, friends, and fans! I’m Angie Gomez, your “Midday Diva”, weekdays from 10:00AM to 2:00PM on MEGA 104.3 Arizona’s Old School! Raised in the lovely town of Superior, Arizona, and 1996 graduate of Ray High School, go “Bearcats”! I have been part of the Mega family for the past four years and let me tell you it has been such an honor. Growing up I listened to the sounds of Earth, Wind and Fire, Carlos Santana, George Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Prince, all of the old school artists that we play here at MEGA 104.3. Of course at that time it was not old school, it was new school. So getting familiar with the music was not a challenge for me. One thing I knew for a fact as a young girl, was that I wanted to entertain. Let me tell you a little bit about my personal life. I am the oldest of four children, I have two brothers, one sister, three nephews, and one niece. My parents and both sets of grandparents live in Superior. Most of my free time, when I have it, is spending quality time with them. We love to cook-out, watch sports and listen to those good ole’ oldies! Working at the radio station is not my only line of work. I am the lead female vocalist for the group, Powerdrive, a very well known band through out the Phoenix area. Powerdrive consists of eleven members, we have everything from horns to percussion to vocals. I have been a member for the past 5 years and we perform at various restaurants, clubs, and casinos. Apparently it's NOT a good idea to let your dog lick your face. --According to a survey by Greenies . . . a company that makes dental chews for dogs . . . more than 60% of us let our dogs lick our face. --Which isn't a good idea . . . because that old saying that a dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's mouth is a myth. --Your dog licks the ground AND his own genitals.
