CRUISIN WITH THE MANIC HISPANIC SHOW Weekdays (Monday- Thursday) 7p - 10p (Friday) 7p - 12p Sunday Afternoon from 3pm - 7pm FEATURES: Cruzin' classics, Requests, Dedications, E-Mail of the Day, and The Cruisin' Roll Call Born and raised in South Phoenix, Arizona to a big family. I guess you can call us the Mexican-American version of the brady bunch 3 BOYS AND 3 GIRLS. The only difference was that I had to share a bed with my brothers and it doesn’t help when one of them thought he was Bruce Lee in his sleep . Fell in love with radio when I first heard Wolfman Jack in the movie American Graffiti. That was my goal, to be just like him on radio, but my voice never got has deep has his. I am respectful and grateful to be able to do this after 23 years and never forget all the people who have helped me. Radio and music will always be in my life however the acting bug took a bite a while back and I did a bit of acting in some community theatre productions and wrote a play called:"MANIC HISPANIC :ON THE AIR". The Play had a 2 week run where we staged and performed at the Herberger Theatre for their lunch time theatre . THE MANIC HISPANIC LIVE AT NIGHT AND CRUISING WITH THE MANIC HISPANIC… I have always wanted to put on a show that the whole family can listen to together. Whether you are at the park or in the backyard while doing the bar-b-que, its a kick back type of fun. On the air Monday thru Friday 6pm to 10, and from 3pm to 7pm every Sunday right here on MEGA 104.3. I always like to say "I'm just a homeboy from the barrio who has his own show now". like i said our theme these last few shows have been about me back in the dating scene.about 3 weeks ago i tried online dating on 3 different services and that was a weird ride because i guess i am old school and i am use to meeting someone in person you know face to face than ask them out on a date.when you do a online dating service it starts with filling out a survey on what you are looking for in a date,age, height, hair color and can they be a smoker or even what type of work do they do.all that sounds easy enough right? it gets even weirder because than you have to describe yourself, now this part is tricky because you dont want to come off too desperate or too pushy or even too demanding but how do you not is the trick. with all this said i did it and i submitted my picture and at first it was smooth sailing i got a few request we talked via email but things that were happing thru email and facebook are things that i felt are topics we are suppose to talk about in our 3rd or even 4th date.but online dating has seem to have done away with the old fashion way of boy meets girl than boy ask girl out than they get to know each other. heck one of the dating sites i went on was a little bit more risque i mean i knew it was but i tried anyways and let me tell you these people held nothing back now i'm no prude but i was even a little scared. maybe its my age or i am just old fashion and i miss the excitement of meeting someone in person and those fire works goin off in your head and your stomach getting all in knots. so will i stop the online dating? no i still have my subscription not gonna say to which one hey at my age i have to keep my options open.next blog is about my friends setting me up with a blind date....take care.
