Gladiator Fire

I wanted to give you an update on the Gladiator Fire.  Yesterday afternoon at five o'clock we were able to restart our generator at our Wildflower site and put KAJM and KNRJ back on the air at full power.   We still have our backups in place should there be another failure.

 

Word from the forest service today is a bit more positive.  They are telling us that the Communication site is "looking good".  They have seven Hot shot teams in the area of the site working the fire.  We also here that fuel trucks could be going to the site later this week to refill everyone's propane tanks.  This is a good sign.  Obviously, the fuel is important to keep the generators operating until APS can restore power.
